It is a Lute not Lutefisk and other 2008 Productions

My year of making stuff in the shop was quite productive. The last two major items were the Cedar chest for Mellissa and the Lute for Anne. I am starting a special project (secret) for Mingjane. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures.

I still have all my fingers, and the trifocals still allow me to see the work, so I guess more stuff will show up in 2009.

Welcome to our Blog

We designed this blog so that our family could keep in touch, sort of like a virtual meeting place. We will try and keep it updated with fun happenings in our family.

We are up to many of the same things that we usually do. Anne is into way too many kids with violins. She hopes that in the next year the Post Falls School district will bring her program into the schools, as she has too many students to any longer handle it before and after school. She suffers from being too successful.
Rolf is building a 1/4 size Bass and working in his usual medical stuff. Anne has gotten Rolf into some politics about Health Care Reform which is fun and rewarding. This year our states medical association voted unanimously to support a process moving toward universal access health care. Rolf wrote one of the resolutions in that effort and now am on the state wide committee on the IMA on the uninsured. He's also on a local committee to design possible ways to implement universal coverage in the Coeur d'Alene area.
